ABOUT THE COLLEGE
The Blanche Macdonald Centre is not the traditional beauty school.
Since 1960, we have offered the highest quality of Professional career training in Makeup Artistry, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Hair Design, Esthetics/Spa Therapy and Nail Technology. Considered to be the premium industry leader, the college graduates over one thousand students per year and has two campuses in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The Uptown Campus at City Square is approximately 30,000 square feet and is situated in an award-winning, architecturally spectacular mall at City Square. This Uptown campus houses the departments of Professional Makeup Artistry, Esthetics/Spa Therapy and Nail Technology, a full Apple Mac Computer Lab and administrative offices.
The Downtown campus, at 18,000 square feet, features a new multi-million dollar facility that houses the Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising faculties, the Professional Hairstyling program with numerous Hair studios and theory rooms and a 24 station Apple Mac Computer Lab.
The Blanche Macdonald Centre is a fully registered, bonded and accredited institute, recognized by the provincial government of British Columbia, Canada, under the authority of the PCTIA (Private Career Training Institutions Agency).
The College is a wholly owned division of Pacifique Riche Enterprises Ltd. (doing business as Blanche Macdonald Centre).

The Blanche Macdonald Centre has always been at the forefront of advanced education.
The Centre employs approximately 150 full and part-time instructors, all of whom are active industry professionals, and many of whom are local and international award winners and nominees. Our instructors balance their careers with a commitment to education and have on average 10 years of teaching experience.
The Blanche Macdonald faculty work closely with students in setting and meeting educational, creative, and professional goals. The success of the college and our graduates is largely due to our exceptionally qualified instructors and directors who provide a highly personalized approach to education and an unwavering commitment to excellence in learning.
