The Blanche Macdonald Centre is committed to assisting our students during the school-to-work transition. The Make-up Diploma Program includes a Resume Preparation and Career Search Skills component in which students learn how to market themselves as Make-up Artists. They learn the essential art of networking and how to write and maintain a specialized cv (curriculum vitae) that will present their skills and experience to best advantage.

A career in Make-up Artistry happens over time, and the most successful artists are those who continually invest in upgrading their skills, diligently expand and diversify their portfolios and cultivate an ongoing support network to help connect them with opportunities available in their field. We recognize this dynamic at the Blanche Macdonald Centre, which is why we took the initiative in creating the Career Services department. Headed up by an extraordinary team of Human Resource professionals, the students and graduates are given ongoing resources and support to assist them in launching careers in their chosen field.
