An industry veteran with an impressive list of credits in television, film and fashion, Make-up Department Head, Michelle Pedersen has received a Gemini nomination for Outstanding Make-up as one of the Key Make-up Artists for The New Addams Family - working with such amazing talent as Michael Roberds, Ellie Harvie, Glenn Taranto, Brody Smith and John DeSantis.

Beginning at an early age, when friends and family were lining up for make-up and hairdos, Michelle tried replicating the looks from her favorite TV series. Later, as an aspiring model, she discovered that she would much rather be doing the make-up for shows than modelling in them and enrolled in the Blanche Macdonald Make-up Diploma Program.

One of her instructors who was active in the local TV industry was impressed by Michelle's talent and dedication and took her on as assistant. After furthering her studies in L.A., she took on a five year stint with the hit series Madison and keyed both the make-up and hair for the award-winning film The War Between Us. She has also worked on the series Hollywood Off-Ramp, feature films such as Death Games and True Heart starring Zachary Ty Bryan and Kirsten Dunst.
