Fundraiser for Japan: Crane Day at Blanche Macdonald!!

Blanche Macdonald has hopped on the worldwide 'Crane Train'! 

Cranes are a global symbol of hope and world peace, and an ancient Japanese legend has it that 1,000 folded paper cranes grants a wish (such as long life or recovery from illness or injury).

Come show your support for the people of Japan and help us reach our goal in raising $1000 on Wednesday, March 30th 2011 from 12pm - 2pm at Blanche Macdonald Centre, Uptown Campus City Square! You can choose to either purchase origami cranes by donation or donate to learn how to make a crane. We will also be serving Japanese refreshments.

All proceeds will be donated to The Red Cross.
