Rules and Regulations:

  1. No purchase necessary to enter this contest. To enter, fill out online entry form. Your entry is eligible for all three available prizes. Contest giveaway for the Tiffany bracelet commences on May 1, 2008 and closes on June 3, 2008. To be eligible for the Tiffany bracelet prize, entries must be completed by June 3, 2008 at 5 p.m. Draw will take place on June 4, 2008. Contest giveaway for the first of two Prom Makeovers commences on May 1, 2008 and closes on May 19, 2008. To be eligible for the first professional makeover, entries must be completed by May 19, 2008 at 5 p.m. Draw will take place on May 20, 2008. Contest giveaway for the second of two Prom Makeovers commences on May 1, 2008 and closes on June 3, 2008. To be eligible for the second professional makeover, entries must be completed by June 3, 2008 at 5 p.m. Draw will take place on June 4, 2008. Entries that are incomplete will be disqualified. All entries shall become the property of Blanche Macdonald Centre. Blanche Macdonald Centre shall not be responsible for entries lost, misdirected or delayed. Entries received by phone, fax, courier, e-mail or dropped off in person will not be accepted by Blanche Macdonald Centre.
  2. Prizes available: 1 Tiffany Bracelet. Value: $300; 2 professional makeover packages. Winners will be selected in a random draw from all eligible entries received. The first draw will take place on May 20, 2008 and second draw will take place on June 4, 2008 at the offices of Blanche Macdonald Centre, 100 - 555 W.12th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. Winners will be notified by telephone or e-mail within 10 business days after the draw. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within this time, or does not claim his/her prize before June 14, 2008 at 5 p.m. or does not meet all the contest conditions, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. To win, the contestant must correctly answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone.
  3. Winners will be selected in a random draw from all eligible entries received. The first draw will take place on May 21st, 2008 and second draw will take place on June 4, 2008 at the offices of Blanche Macdonald Centre, 100 - 555 W.12th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. Winners will be notified by telephone or e-mail within 10 business days after the draw. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within this time, or does not claim his/her prize before June 30, 2008 at 5 p.m. or does not meet all the contest conditions, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. To win, the contestant must correctly answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone.
  4. This contest is open to all grade 12 high school students in the lower mainland. For these purposes, Lower Mainland is defined as Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Mission, Langley, New Westminster, White Rock, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Delta, Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver.
  5. This offer is void where prohibited by law. Chances of winning are solely dependant on the total number of eligible entries received. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and participation in the contest indicates acceptance of all contest rules and regulations. Void where prohibited.
  6. The decisions of the contest judges are final. The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash. The prize winner has the sole responsibility of paying any taxes connected to the prize, if any. By entering the contest, entrants or parent/legal guardian of entrant if under the age of majority, consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph and/or image for publicity purposes in all mediums carried out by Blanche Macdonald Centre without payment or compensation. Blanche Macdonald Centre will not sell or rent any information gathered from contest entries to third parties.
  7. The eligible winner of the prize automatically releases Blanche Macdonald Centre from any liability arising from the acceptance of the prize and confirming compliance with contest rules.
  8. Blanche Macdonald Centre accepts no liability or responsibility in connection with any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising out of this contest or the prize.
  9. No responsibility will be taken for any failure of the website during the promotion or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail, on-line or Internet entry to be received by Blanche Macdonald Centre on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Blanche Macdonald Centre reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Internet portion of this contest should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Blanche Macdonald Centre corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Blanche Macdonald Centre reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
  10. The prize is non-transferable. All dates are fixed.
