Hair Services
Our Pro Hair and Barbering Student Stylists are busy teasing, mixing and snipping up fresh and marvellous looks in our on-site Hair Salon. Come book a service at our downtown hair salon and see what our incredible Student Stylists can do for you and your ‘do’. From professional cuts and colour to blowouts, updos and hair extensions, our students will take your locks to the next level.
All services are performed by students of our Pro Hairstyling and Pro Barbering programs under the close supervision of our qualified instructors. Thank you for being a part of our learning community!

Please note:
All hair services take place at our Atelier Campus in downtown Vancouver.
When you arrive for your appointment, please come to the 2nd floor via the elevators at 201-825 Homer Street.
Walk-ins for haircuts are always welcome. It is recommended to call ahead to ensure availability. Please call our Atelier Campus at 604-685-5560 between 8:30 am – 6 pm, 7 days a week to book your appointment. The last appointment of the day for chemical hair treatments is at 10:00 AM.

Barbering Special: Experience the full barbershop treatment — shampoo, precision cut, and a hot towel shave — two guests for the price of one ($18)!
Hair Special: Get two cuts for one low price! The higher-priced service sets the final price. If you book a long cut ($25) and your guest chooses a short cut ($18), together you’ll pay just $25.00.
Students Helping Students discounts:
External students: 25% off hair services or free services as exam models.
BMC students: complimentary haircut and 50% off other hair services. Exam model hair services are always free.

PLEASE NOTE:
- Appointment bookings for the upcoming month will open one day before the first of the month.
- We can only accept cashless payments in the form of debit or credit at this time.
- We are unable to process tips with your payment. Please bring cash if you would like to give a gratuity directly to your stylist.
- Every hair colour service will require a consultation. It will be at the discretion of our instructors to determine whether your service can be completed.
- The last appointment for haircut, styling and non-colour services is 2 PM.
- The last appointment for chemical services is at 10:00 AM.
- Please check in with our reception team at 201-825 Homer Street (2nd floor via the elevators) at our Atelier campus before your appointment.
- We cannot provide hair services to minors (under the age of 10).
ABOUT OUR DOWNTOWN HAIR SALON
Our Hair Salon is the jewel of our Hair School: a state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar learning laboratory where we provide cutting-edge, real-life training to our Hair students. Going beyond the standard Hair School curriculum, this is where students learn, practice, evolve and perfect what they learn in an actual salon environment.

CLIENT SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Blanche Macdonald Centre is committed to maintaining the health and safety of our staff, instructors, students, and clients.
Masks are no longer required in indoor public spaces, but we welcome you to wear a mask on our campuses if you prefer.
Please do not bring food, drinks, or unnecessary items (shopping bags, large additional bags, etc.) into the school. Sanitized plastic bins will be provided for jackets and personal belongings.
STUDENT HAIR SERVICES PRICE LIST
Services are provided in a classroom environment by uncertified student stylists in training. As such, the College cannot provide Hair services to minors, under the age of 10. Clients under the age of 18 require parental consent before their service: written consent, by email or by phone.
