What is it like to work in Hong Kong as a Fashion Makeup Artist?

Working in Hong Kong is quite different from working in North America. But I got to meet a lot of talented artists here with a whole new perspective of approaching art, fashion and our own unique culture. Many new ads and social media contents are being created constantly. It’s a city full of hard working and creative people. And I’m grateful I got to work with them.

What did you think of the Makeup program at Blanche Macdonald?

The program was well rounded and covered every aspect of makeup artistry, which helped me understand how to approach different situations when it comes to photography and film.

What helped me the most was the volunteering program Blanche offers.

I would recommend this program to anyone who is truly passionate about makeup and art, no matter if they were an artist or not. Because what helped me the most was the volunteering program Blanche offers. It prepared me with confidence while learning when I was still a student. Those were the hands-on experiences I got to have and I felt comfortable working in the industry as soon as I graduated.
