Our graduates have applied their technical and artistic skills in a variety of career paths – and on a worldwide scale. They work as nail technicians in salons, dayspas, destination spas, resort spas and cruise ships; as freelance techs, as award winners in nail competitions; as industry educators for professional nail product and equipment companies; as instructors and trainers; and as managers and owners of successful nail businesses.
We offer ongoing career support and networking connections for our nail technician graduates as they transition between career opportunities. And build their own nail specialty businesses.

Debbie has been a leader and visionary in the spa/esthetics industry for over twenty-five years. She has enjoyed an extensive career as an esthetician, salon owner, instructor, writer, public speaker, mentor and educational director. She has served as a technical chair, committee member and judge for Skills Canada and numerous other industry committees. She has made numerous appearances on both Breakfast TV and OMNI as an expert in the spa industry. She also works as an auditor in a chair and program specialist capacity for a provincial agency. Debbie is often in the classroom – combining her passion for people with life long learning. She has developed an extensive network of industry relationships that she enthusiastically encourages the Blanche Macdonald esthetic and nail students and graduates to connect with.
