Roshanak was a Quality Assurance Officer in a Petrochemical plant in Iran for over a decade before she came to Canada with her young daughter in search of a more creative life. Soon after arriving, she decided to enrol in our Nail Studio program, and ever since, every one of her dreams came true.
Always having her own nails done, Kristine decided to learn how to do her own nails after high school. It wasn't until she started doing nails on other people that she realized she actually wanted to do nails as a career! Only a handful of years later, Kristine's at-home nail business Kaebaby Nails is booming. She's booked up five months in advance!
Fostered by her love for Japanese nail art and inspired by Nail program grad and Salon owner Keiko Matsui, Catherine set out to open her very own private luxury salon known as Sunday Beauty Boutique in Vancouver's stylish Kitsilano neighbourhood.
With over a decade in the Korean and Canadian industries, Yuri Song has proven herself as a world-class nail artist. These days you can catch her working as a Nail Artist at Style Lab HQ or in the hallways of Blanche Macdonald, where she instructs our artificial nail module.
When it comes to Nails and Esthetics Min Pak is a tour de force. Her career started at Blanche Macdonald in 2005 when she trained as an Esthetician; she soon took off for South Korea, where she added Nail Technician to her resume. Now instructing at Blanche Macdonald, she’s had a massive influence on ensuring that our Nail Studio and Esthetics programs stay on top of the latest industry trends.
In just a few short years Alejandra Ramazzini went from walking Blanche Macdonald's hallways as a student to instructing in the Nail Studio program. A fanatic for all things nails, Alejandra is passionate about Cardi B’s claws and passing her knowledge to the next generation of Nail Artists. Between molding minds in the classroom and her bustling private nail studio, Bodega Nails, Alejandra has found the perfect outlets for unleashing her boundless creativity.
Inspired by a life-long love for TV & Film, modelling, and all things beauty, Mika enrolled Blanche Macdonald’s Makeup program to pursue a career as a an on-set Makeup Artist. However, she quickly realized that applying makeup and providing beauty services for clients fulfilled her passion for beauty more than special effects ever had. Sparked by her newfound direction Mika returned to Blanche Macdonald and enrolled in the Esthetics program, which led her to the rewarding career that she has today as the owner and beauty director of Prép Beauty Parlour—Vancouver’s premier beauty studio.
