Now, Katsuki has taken on the role as the Japanese Region Branding Director for iconic label Katharine Hamnett London!

Founded in 1913 with a reputation for crafting impeccable suits for celebrities, Modernize Tailors is a Vancouver institution located in the heart of Chinatown. When legendary owner Bill Wong passed in April 2017, the shop was handed over to his intern, Blanche Macdonald Fashion Design program graduate Mia Wu. Now, Mia continues the legacy of Modernize, creating high quality garments. Her mission? To turn Modernize to the leading tailoring house in Vancouver and across Canada.
At our 2020 Graduate Fashion Show, Sugar on the Side, 24 Fashion graduates sweetened up the runway with their immaculately crafted debut collections. The evening was filled with spectacularly chic moments, culminating with awards and the announcement of three Fashion Design graduates who will be representing Blanche Macdonald as Emerging Talent Designers at Vancouver Fashion Week.
Fashion Design alum Peter Zuk is brimming with energy, exuberance and off-colour one-liners. Peter is the living embodiment of what it means to be over-the-top. And you better believe that he bring his outrageous personality to the runway too. Renowned for his wild design sense and theatrical productions, Peter and his label Haus Zuk have quickly gained an enthusiastic following. His label has walked at international fashion weeks, you can find his work featured in Paper Magazine, and his designs have been seen on famed drag icons, like The Vixen. A self-described "liability", we guarantee that you've never seen a designer like Peter before.
Motivated to put Vancouver on the map as a major fashion destination, design grads Graham Hood, Matthew Harrison and Marcus Quon have founded a unique creative haven. Their budding business, In House Creations, rents space to artists and produces branded merchandise for clients, but the beating heart of the business is the streetwear brand Sans Parole. When it comes to this In House one thing is clear: this is a design collaborative that celebrates art, community, and—of course—fashion.
Theola Wong's foray into Fashion Design has been a resounding success. Now she's taking her career into her own hands as a Freelance Creative Director.
With experience designing for some of the city's most coveted brands, Cristin Heck's immense talent has landed her a leading position at Arc'teryx. Now she's tasked with overseeing design operations for one of Vancouver's most beloved outdoor brands.
